Driver Instructions & Guidance
Drivers receive assigned dock, navigation directions and personalized instructions directly in the app. Ideal for drivers visiting the warehouse for the first time.
Tell every driver exactly what to do next
One instruction from the Actions menu becomes a colour-coded card on the driver's phone the moment you send it — heading and wording already in their language.
Four instructions on the driver's screen
A dispatcher picks one instruction from the check-in Actions menu. Each becomes a colour-coded card on the driver's status page. Fixed wording shows in the driver's language; a note the dispatcher types appears exactly as written.
- Wait — amber
- An amber card. With an ETA set, the driver sees a countdown ("You need to wait 25 minutes") and the estimated time for unloading, refreshed each minute. When it runs out, the dispatcher's expiry note takes over. Without an ETA, only the wait message shows.
- Call to Office — blue
- A blue card reading "Please come to the office". It takes priority in the driver's main "What to do" card, while the separate "Assigned Ramp" card — photo, instructions, Open in Maps — stays on screen.
- Send to Parking — teal
- A teal card naming the exact bay the dispatcher chose — "Go to parking: [Parcare Nord] A12" — built from the parking and spot names.
- Other Action — orange
- An orange card whose headline is the dispatcher's free text, shown exactly as typed. A plain written instruction — no template, no reply field.
- Assigned Ramp — green
- A green card "Go to Rampa 3", plus a separate "Assigned Ramp" card carrying the ramp photo, written instructions, and an "Open in Maps" button to the ramp's coordinates (shown when coordinates are set).
- Live delivery
- Every instruction lands on the driver's status page the moment it is sent, over a live realtime channel — no refresh and no SMS. A localized push notification goes out alongside it.
What problem does it solve?
A truck is parked somewhere in the yard and the driver has no idea what happens next. He does not speak the local language, the ramp is not free yet, and nobody has told him. So he climbs down, walks to the office and asks. The dispatcher explains with gestures, sends him back, and ten minutes later he is at the window again with the same question.
Logistiq turns that conversation into one action. From the check-in's Actions menu the dispatcher sends Wait, Call to Office, Send to Parking or a custom instruction. It lands on the driver's status page as a single colour-coded "What to do" card — delivered instantly over a realtime connection and mirrored by a push notification — with the fixed wording already translated into twelve languages.
Without Logistiq
- Drivers walk to the office to ask
- Instructions explained with gestures at the window
- Nobody knows how long the wait is
- The same question answered five times
With Logistiq
- One instruction from the Actions menu
- Colour-coded card on the driver's phone
- Wait time shown as a countdown
- Fixed wording in twelve languages
Benefits for the whole team
One instruction, three people who stop guessing.
Drivers
- One card answers the only question that matters: what to do right now.
- Add a wait time and the card counts down the hours and minutes left, plus the estimated time for loading or unloading.
- The assigned ramp card can carry photos, written instructions and an Open in Maps link.
Dispatchers
- Four actions in the check-in Actions menu: Wait, Call to Office, Send to Parking, Other Action.
- Set a wait time from thirteen presets, from an exact hour, or leave it out entirely.
- A Current Driver Instruction panel shows the instruction the driver is on right now — and hides itself once the truck is reassigned.
Yard supervisors
- Send to Parking frees the old spot and marks the new one occupied.
- Unassign the ramp with a Wait or custom action and the driver gets a clear "Ramp has been cancelled" card.
- Ramp coordinates, photos and instructions are set once and reused on every assignment.
Frequently asked questions about driver instructions
It appears on the check-in status page at qrgo.ro. The page holds a realtime connection, so the driver watches the card change the moment you press send — no refresh, no polling — and a localized push notification goes out in parallel. These instructions are not sent by SMS.
No. Only the fixed wording is translated — "What to do", "Please come to the office", "Go to parking" — into twelve languages, picked by the driver's own language choice. Anything you type yourself, including ramp instructions, arrives exactly as written. With mixed fleets, the action type and the card colour carry the meaning on their own.
The countdown recomputes every minute and shows the hours and minutes left, plus an estimated time for loading or unloading. At zero the card switches to your expiration message, or to the default: "The waiting time has passed, you will immediately receive the next instruction." The estimated time is optional — leave it out and the driver simply sees your message.
Not on the instruction card — it shows one thing, the next step, with no reply button and no read receipt. Conversation belongs to the separate check-in chat, where driver and dispatcher can write to each other. There is only ever one card: a new action replaces the old one, and Call to Office always takes priority.
